Ilkeston is a small market town in Derbyshire and is the home of one of the largest St George’s Day celebrations in the country with a population of more than 125,000.
We are one of the the largest associations in the country and is still growing. It was founded in 2001 by Richard Dawson and other members John & Mark Rotham, Pete & Christine Wade and Dave Rourke.
New additions in 2006 are Steve Smith & L. Betts, they were working on Aussie day 2001 and decided that England was starting to lose its nationality so they got together and formed the association from that day.
